Parent Reminders:
First grade is collecting hand sanitizer and hand soap for the Sisters at Camilla Hall. Any class with 100% participation will win an ice cream party!
Please sign all report card envelops and return to school as soon as possible
I am excited to announce that we will begin to work on our Treasure books this week. Your child’s writing will be published in a book and you have the opportunity to order one for your family!
Once the class book is published and delivered, parents will be invited in to the classroom for an Author’s Tea party. We will send home more information on Author’s Tea when our books arrive in a few weeks!
This is not a mandatory purchase, however most students do order them. If you chose not to order a book, please check the “No” box on the form that is being sent home today and send it back to your child’s teacher. All forms must be submitted for publishing purposes. Book order forms are due no later than Tuesday, March 27th.
These books make great end of the year gifts for your child! The children work very hard on these and will be so excited to share their creative writing with you! We can't wait :)
