Week of June 4th

Parent Reminders:


No written homework for this week.
Please study and prepare for all exams!
Students will need to bring sharpened pencils and erasers each day 


Exam schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, June 5th - Religion
Wednesday, June 6th - Math
Thursday, June 7th - ELA
(The ELA Benchmark test will be done in sections over the course of the week)


Students should be preparing for Religion by making flashcards. Review for Math by reviewing chapter reviews from previous math workbooks. 

This Friday, June 8th at 10:00 AM is Author's Tea in our classroom. 

The week of June 11th are half days! No school for kids on June 14th. 

June 15th is the last day of school. Mass will be held at 9:00, dismissal at 10:30

There are no sight words for this week - Please use this time to review for exams. We will review a lot in class, but studying at home is still necessary. I want all students to finish this year strong!

Week of May 21st

Parent Reminders:

Please see the end of the year reminder paper that will be coming home today along with the review for our Religion assessment.  

This Wednesday, we will have a dress down for the poor children in Peru - All monetary donations are greatly received. 



Spirit Day is this Friday - We will have a 11:45 dismissal
If your child is on the gold team they are asked to wear their yellow gym shirt. If your child is on the maroon team they are asked to wear their blue ribbon t-shirt. All students will wear their gym shorts. Please bring a labeled water bottle and apply sunscreen to your child before they come to school on Friday.

Week of May 14th

Dear parents, 
Thank you for your understanding and patience these last few days. I was not aware that I would not be in school on Monday or Tuesday. We had an illness on vacation which sent our family on a hospital trip in Florida and causing us to miss our scheduled flight. From what I understand, the Zoo trip went smoothly and all of the students behaved well and had a great time. I apologize for any misunderstanding with homework and blogger this week. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Week of May 7th

This Tuesday night, May 8th, is the May Procession - All students must wear their regular school uniform and report to our classroom no later than 6:30 to line up. 



Animal projects were due on Monday, May 7th and will be presented all week. 

Mission Money will be collected every Wednesday!

First Grade test schedule this week  -

*This Thursday is a snow make up day. We will attend the 9:00 mass to celebrate Ascension Thursday

Our Zoo field trip is Monday, May 14th! Students will wear their gym uniforms. Please apply sunscreen at home before coming to school if needed. Bring a brown bag lunch in a large zip lock bag labeled with child's name, classroom and school.

These activities must be completed in their homework books. We set up their copybooks together in class last week, so you know exactly how it is to be done each night. Please feel free to email me with any questions or concerns.
